Proxy buying, explained
The questions we get before a first order.
- What is a proxy buying service?
- A proxy buying service buys something on your behalf in a country you can't buy from. You send the product link, we pay the Korean store with our Korean account and card, receive the item at our Seoul warehouse, and forward it to you. You never need a Korean phone number, card or address.
- How is proxy purchase different from package forwarding?
- Forwarding only gives you a Korean address — you still have to check out on the Korean site yourself, which is where most foreign cards get declined. With proxy purchase we do the checkout too, so the payment and phone verification problems never come up.
- What does it cost?
- You pay the item price, our buying fee and international shipping — quoted together in USD before you pay anything. US duties are prepaid (DDP), so nothing is billed on delivery.
- Which Korean stores can you buy from?
- Any of them. Coupang, Musinsa, Olive Young, Naver Smart Store, Weverse, Ktown4u, 29CM, Danggeun Market and ordinary brand sites all work the same way — send the link.
