Region and language by platform
Current-generation consoles are largely region-free for game discs, but in-game language support is decided per title. Many Korean releases include English audio and text; some do not. The back of the box lists supported languages, and Korean retail listings usually reproduce that panel in the product images.
Korean special editions
Publishers periodically release Korea-exclusive collector editions with different art or bundled goods, priced at 90,000-200,000 KRW. These are the main reason to import rather than buy locally, since standard editions are usually cheaper at US retail after shipping.
Console hardware caution
Korean console hardware ships with a 220V power supply. Some consoles use a universal internal supply and only need a different cable; others do not. Verify the specific model before buying hardware, and remember that domestic warranties do not travel.
Digital codes do not work this way
Korean digital store codes are tied to Korean accounts and regional storefronts. Buying a code and redeeming it on a US account generally does not work, and account region switching has its own complications. Physical media is the reliable route.
